If median speed rises while accuracy holds, your training is working. If speed jumps but errors spike, slow your daily practice, fix the hot spots, and retest later. A small, steady trend beats streaky highs.

Trend Over Time
Plot median WPM at your accuracy floor across weeks. Expect stair-steps, not a straight line: short plateaus followed by small jumps. Judge progress by quarter, not by day. If you stall, apply a three-day reset: accuracy first, then light variety, then modest pace lifts.
